The Five Areas of Emphasis

Don’t be distracted by the process or preparation. Embrace them; focus on the result. Be like the star athlete who was drafted to play on the championship team, who is excited to begin work-out with the new team and the new coach and the new processes.

5 Areas of emphasis:

  1. Preparation and process.
  2. Emphasis on the Word of God.
  3. The 5-Fold ministry to build the Church, re-
    addressing, further developing.
  4. The Church is to take action this year.
  5. Being the Church all the time.
    Preparation and process

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a

huge crowd of witnesses to the life of

faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down,

especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run

with endurance the race God has set before us. 2 We do this

by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates

and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he

endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is

seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.

Hebrews 12: 1-2 (NLTSE)
  1. Don’t just focus on the process; focus on the result!
  2. Embrace the process, and focus on the result.

Don’t be distracted by the process or preparation. Embrace them; focus on the result. Be like the star athlete who was drafted to play on the championship team, who is excited to begin work-out with the new team and the new coach and the new processes. Yes, it was hard work getting here, and yes it will be harder work from here on. But they endure the work cause they’re looking to the championship and the victory.
