Jeremy Anderson’s message centered on living as witnesses who reflect the countenance of God. Through personal testimony, campus ministry stories, and Scripture, he reminded the church that God is moving powerfully in this generation. He encouraged believers to never stop praying, to release testimony with expectation, and to understand witness as the overflow of intimacy with God. As we behold the Lord, His face changes our face, and we become reflections of His light in a dark world.

I saw the hand of God in his life. And finally we’ve been able to have him come here. And I’ve wanted to have our church meet this man. And so, Jeremy, if you wouldn’t come up, Deborah, why don’t you come up? His a beautiful wife.

They served together in incredible ways, and I’ll hand the mic to them. Thank you so much for that. Wow. Well, so grateful to be here. It’s been 20 years of serving the university students. Really to see heaven come on our college campuses, to see God move in mighty ways. We are like you, anticipating this great awakening that’s taking place.

There’s a hunger and thirst for God. There’s an openness to his gospel. There’s an openness to his love. When you think of university students in the secular realm, don’t lose hope because God is moving and God is reaching their hearts. God is. We see students over and over and over and talk about encounters that they’ve had, even alone, without any other believers nearby, that he is drawing and wooing his bride to him.

00:01:18:10 – 00:01:52:07

And we get to partner with what he’s doing on the campuses. We want to see his his kingdom come on our university campuses and delivered to the nations. And we’re seeing that happen. We’ve been able to send so many students into we like to focus on the 1040 window, which is a really unreached part of our world, and to see students give their degree to the Lord and have him use that degree to go into places that are not allowed to go missionaries to go into has been just one of the great honors and privilege of our life.

00:01:52:07 – 00:02:15:07

And to continue doing this and to see our missionaries lay their lives down for university students, so that his Kingdom and his reign can rule into every kingdom we’re seeing. It is becoming his Kingdom and we’re loving it. So thank you for partnering with us in prayer and and and giving and and just allowing us to be here this morning.

Y’all I know you know this, by the way, if it’s your first time here, maybe you just popped in. You know, you haven’t been here before. Just so you know, I’m a guest speaker. So if you don’t like what takes place from here on, just come back next week. It’ll be all good. I’ll be gone. Enjoy it. No.

I said Jonathan, and it’s the first time I called you pastor. I apologize. The whole time I’ve been here, I just realized I was like, oh, it was Shelly. Thank you both so much for stewarding the incredible work of God. I know there’s a family legacy. Not just family, but family. Yeah, that is being stewarded from generation to generation.

It’s been a conviction of our heart that if it is Kingdom, it’s transferable. It’s a statement we repeat often because God designed us to actually live trans generationally. You got to meet my wife. I’m going to point out two of our four kids. I got to join us, Abra Heart Anderson right here in front row, and Jeshua, Dunamis Anderson, incredible woman and man of God in the continued coming years.

00:03:35:28 – 00:04:00:21

And man, I celebrate all of you graduates of the increase of his peace and his government. There will be no end. So get used to continue graduating in your faith in your life continually, every day, every week. Life is like a big celebration in the Kingdom. It’s like that was a little moment of what it’s really like day by day.

00:04:00:21 – 00:04:25:07
Unknown
Why? Because we were designed to live from glory to glory to glory, from faith to faith, from strength to strength. All of these things you may have read and know well are the actual experience of of the Christian life promised to us. I know I’m coming to you. It’s funny because when praying and asking the Holy Spirit what’s in his heart, how can I deliver not just what, but the way that you share it?

00:04:25:07 – 00:04:44:03

Sometimes I show up to a church like this one fiery and nations being able to see the the the again multi multi generation continuing to give you know there’s churches that are like we need more young people. So we got some fire in the room. I’m like bro these young people need to get some fire from these older folks.

00:04:44:03 – 00:05:05:17
Unknown
That’s what I’m saying. That’s you know what I’m saying. There’s no separation of when you get to be fiery. That was beautiful. Thank you so much. And so we get to continue on on this. So I, I’m not going to take a lot of time to share about our ministry. I know I’m maybe a new face to many of you or most of you or all of you at this point, so that’s fine.

00:05:05:17 – 00:05:29:03
Unknown
But honestly, when I met Pastor Jonathan back then, just Jonathan on campus, he met us in the throes. What year was that? Do you actually remember the year? Because it was. You said 24. It was four. It was right out. Now we were right out the gate and my wife and I and I got, I got saved. You probably never heard of this guy Billy Graham.

00:05:29:03 – 00:06:08:15
Unknown
He came through Sacramento, California in 1995, preached the gospel I had praying grandparents, of which there are many in this room. And I’m going to ask you as praying grandparents, to never cease, never give up hope. Do not grow weary, okay? I am the product, as many are, of praying grandparents and parents. You know what I’m saying? And if they could look at the garbage life I was living and still have hope for that kid at 16 years old and at 17 in the day, October 19th, 1995, when I was getting in my car to drive to the Bay area and murder a man who had hurt a friend of mine, and my car wouldn’t

00:06:08:15 – 00:06:33:15
Unknown
start for no reason other than divine, we’ll call it that. And my grandparents, who had in their 60s, heard the Holy Spirit say, your family is going to come to Christ. And they inconveniently picked up their life and move from a desk to California to Sacramento for the sole purpose, to assign themselves to see us through into the kingdom and to disciple their grandchildren.

00:06:33:19 – 00:06:57:06
Unknown
And they showed up on my doorstep October 19th 1919, 1995. As I had murder in my heart and rage in my mind, and they said, hey, can we grab some dinner? And my car wouldn’t start and my plans were beginning to fail. And I said, fine, because my grandparents had a sweet spot in my life, you know, like, I could get like I could get mad at my parents, but my grandparents are like my grandparents, you know?

00:06:57:09 – 00:07:15:06
Unknown
So I get in their car, we go eat, and I say, hey, we want to take you to Arco Arena. We want to, you know, listen to a famous guy speak. And I just followed him and I walked in. And that night I remember standing.

00:07:15:08 – 00:07:36:09
Unknown
Excuse me, the allergies up here are crazy. I don’t know what’s. I don’t know what’s going on, but. And I remember, like, I was praying and I was looking at my hands, and I had thought so many times that very night my hands would be covered in blood. And now they were receiving a blood that I didn’t even know paid for me.

00:07:36:11 – 00:07:43:26
Unknown
He paid for me, he said of taking a man’s life. I was given life.

00:07:43:29 – 00:07:51:13
Unknown
It ruined me to this day.

00:07:51:15 – 00:08:16:29
Unknown
I could tell you stories and maybe I’ll share a few, but I’m just telling you like there’s just nothing I could do in this life that that equates to sacrifice. Nothing that you and I can do, that we could even go and turn around like my. My prayer has been, God, I just want to. I want to live a life to where I turn around and and people get to say, man, that that guy wasn’t that good.

00:08:17:00 – 00:08:45:09
Unknown
That was God. Like, we know him, you know, that’s just the adventure, man. Thank you. Sorry, I thought I was going to make it, but, you know, it took me 30s. I appreciate you, brother. Oh. Even water. All right, y’all got me set up. You know, I just, man. And I’m going to tell you, I don’t have this experience often, but I walked into this church, and again, more than the building, the people.

00:08:45:11 – 00:09:04:07
Unknown
But what’s taking place. And I’ve not had so many, like, voices of the fathers of faith that I kind of just nourished myself and was discipled through so many resources. We call them odds old dead guys that have written this gold that we just it’s like you get to get discipled from all these men and women of God that have lived these incredible lives.

00:09:04:07 – 00:09:40:13
Unknown
And, and so maybe you’ll recognize some of the names, but I think it was either Moody or Andrew Murray that said that revival itself is a place of renewed repentance, followed by an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. And if you’re new to even what took place this morning, or if you’ve been around forever, just just a moment where someone decides, I’m going to change the way I think based upon the goodness of God in this moment and that outpouring and that Spirit of God, that sense that is not limited to a place of musical worship or at altars.

00:09:40:13 – 00:10:03:21
Unknown
I know we know this, but we were designed to actually just walk in that. And what a gift it is that as a body, you continue to to to not grow old. This dust doesn’t grow familiar to you. That’s probably one of the greatest challenges of the Christian life, right? To just become familiar and to begin to touch the ark that falls off the cart.

00:10:03:21 – 00:10:29:08
Unknown
And suddenly, if you know what I’m referencing, to begin to use a cart, there’s a there’s a writing. I’m not I’m not teaching out of it, but it’s called the Talmud. And it actually says of the Ark of God that it bore its bearers, that there’s something about the presence of God, that both we acknowledge that it is impossible for us to either understand or to carry such great power and glory.

00:10:29:08 – 00:10:50:22
Unknown
And yet it is the ark that bears those who hold the presence. It is not by might, right? It is not by power. It’s by His Spirit that we are actually able to carry His Spirit. It’s fascinating. And every good thing that comes from my life, I turn around, I’m like, God, it was you that did that. How do I get to?

00:10:50:23 – 00:11:18:03
Unknown
How do I get to be celebrated in a moment where all I’m doing is reflecting? That’s all I’m doing. I know you guys are like, wondering maybe what I’m going to get to the word I will, I’ll make it. I promise at some point we’ll we’ll make it there. I felt I felt significantly I don’t know what it was you were sharing yesterday, but I just feel like I need to share a couple of things, if I could call him of of prophetic nature that I sense in here.

00:11:18:03 – 00:11:55:12
Unknown
So that, that, that quote that I had shared earlier. But I believe it was stud that said some, some desire to set up their home within the sound of church bells, but I desire to set up camp within a yard of hell. And it’s not saying that we don’t. We shouldn’t know and enjoy this, but there is something about the atmosphere in this place that while you are wild and wildly in love with God, it is evident that all of this is is actually a place of both receiving and reflection.

00:11:55:12 – 00:12:12:02
Unknown
And I believe that’s why God gave me the word that he gave me today. Maybe just as an affirmation, I didn’t come in here like I didn’t know, is this going to be like, right where, you know, people are going to receive this? I’m like, no, this is this, this church is at it. Y’all are going for it.

00:12:12:03 – 00:12:44:25
Unknown
So I pray you receive this as the smile of the Lord over you. I’m going to begin with two testimonies. Revelations 1910. You may be familiar says the testimony of Jesus Christ is the spirit of prophecy. It’s actually one of the ways we met our friends here, because we were out in the middle of campus, and we kind of just hinged everything on scriptures, and we’re like, you know, if we could go out there and just share the testimony of the love and power of God that transform a life, then that will be like a prophetic invitation to every person in the middle of our campus.

00:12:44:25 – 00:13:10:27
Unknown
Why don’t we just change the atmosphere of Stanislaus State by releasing prophetic declaration of the power and the love of God that is transformed lives? And so it wasn’t storytelling, it was actually an expectation in our heart. And as my wife and I in 2004 stepped out for the very first time together. I had served in ministry for about five years prior, and we got married and we went in the middle of campus and we didn’t have any books that we read this from.

00:13:10:27 – 00:13:33:11
Unknown
And I’m not saying like, oh, we’re genius. I just it was just like, here’s what I think we should do, but I’m not seeing anybody do this. So let’s get a try, you know? And we go out and we just stood with students and a couple of them had been healed and different testimonies and of course salvation. And we said, just just share what God says.

00:13:33:12 – 00:13:54:16
Unknown
And at the end of what whatever you say, we’ll just say, hey, God’s no respecter of men. If he’s done it in their life, he’ll do it in yours. We’d like to pray for you. And then we thought, well, if we have an altar call, no one’s going to come. Because, number one, it was just a big dirt area in the middle of campus, and we didn’t feel like that was going to do justice to what God had prepared.

00:13:54:16 – 00:14:26:22
Unknown
But I knew that that Jesus sent people out. So how about if we just walked to everybody that we see is listening, right? When you enter a place, release your peace. And if a man of peace is there, let your peace settle. There’s this picture painted that that if I am speaking the word of truth, if I’m speaking of and by the Spirit of God, and I see someone’s posture, their heart, their attention turn, I’m recognizing God’s already at work, right?

00:14:26:23 – 00:14:45:10
Unknown
So it’s really just fun from there, because he’s the one that brings them to faith. It’s only by the Spirit of God. So we just wanted to remove the myths and it was like, okay, well, if they’re turning their attention towards the Lord, they’re receiving a prophetic invitation from the life that’s releasing that. Let’s just go follow up with them.

00:14:45:10 – 00:15:04:08
Unknown
So this is I mean, I know this isn’t revolutionary, okay? I’m just saying this was this is our life. It’s the testimony of Jesus Christ became the anchor point of what what is it we could do on a weekly basis that would shift the atmosphere of a campus? And so that’s why I want to share the testimonies I’m sharing.

00:15:04:08 – 00:15:27:22
Unknown
But but that’s basically what we’ve done for the last 25 years. I had had the privilege to plant with not only in Stanislaw, but ten other universities and then some community colleges and whatnot, with incredible men and women of God that were very privileged to serve with. But about five days ago, I, I got Ahold of an the assistant of a guy named Mario Murillo.

00:15:27:23 – 00:15:53:11
Unknown
I don’t know if anybody knows Mario. Hey. All right. I’m amongst friends. Okay, so Mario was actually the first Alpha in Northern California. He planted UC Berkeley for decades ago. Fiery fire evangelist and a and but the reason I actually called him was silly is I had a need for, like, every church doors or whatever, you know, like as a ministry, we have a conference every year we’ve outgrown.

00:15:53:12 – 00:16:11:17
Unknown
If you’re familiar with Mount Hermon Conference Center in Santa Cruz, I feel like we know each other. So, you know. And so we outgrew their conference center, which holds 500. And this last year we did the we tried to open the back doors and like people were freezing outside, but we were like, you know, it was it was fun.

00:16:11:17 – 00:16:30:13
Unknown
But we’re like, we can’t probably do that forever. So so at one point, we had put about 800 chairs in there gym and transformed it into our sanctuary, and that actually worked really well. But it costs a lot to rent chairs. It’s boring stuff. So let me get to the fun stuff. Okay. So so, you know, I’m like, man, chairs is not the kind of like, especially in the ministry.

00:16:30:13 – 00:16:43:02
Unknown
You’re like, I’m thinking about chairs. Like I’m trying to find the best price on. This is why I got into ministry. But it’s part of it, you know? It’s part of it. Like the chair equals a place for someone to come, I get it. I could do the addition and then my head, but but I’m just like, oh, Lord.

00:16:43:03 – 00:17:00:10
Unknown
And it’s quite a bit of, you know, quite a bit of money if you’ve bought tears. Okay. And somebody at my church goes, hey, I heard Mario selling like a whole bunch of his chairs from his crusades. I was like, no way. So get a hold. Assistant said, hey, just curious. Mario reaches back out. How much do you need?

00:17:00:11 – 00:17:17:09
Unknown
I’m like 800 maxes out there, Jim, so I don’t even know you had 800. He’s like, oh, I got 800, you know? Now keep in mind. These are like the chairs I want. These are like not just the metal chairs but the ones that little cushion, you know, like the illusion of comfort is coming. Like, oh yeah, it’s got a cushion.

00:17:17:09 – 00:17:39:01
Unknown
It’s like that big of a cushion, but whatever, you know, I was like, hey, let’s try. So these are the ones I want to clean looking good. And I call. And so Mario sends like the kindness note ever after we we discuss it and he says, you know, I got my start. Somebody trusted me to reach a university as a missionary with decades ago.

00:17:39:01 – 00:17:50:29
Unknown
And it helped me launch in everything that God has put me here. And so we’d actually like to just give you 100 shares to the glory of God I.

00:17:51:01 – 00:18:13:23
Unknown
If you ever, like, get the privilege of raising funds for a ministry. I immediately just watched like that big number go, oh, praise God, that’s like half like. But I was like dumbfounded, you know, racks and everything. Again, boring details. But I’m telling you, that was dumb rack. So like five grand just for the racks, you know. So it was about $25,000 of a gift to our university students that I just praise God.

00:18:13:23 – 00:18:30:13
Unknown
But I’ll tell you, the significance of this is also in the hidden place. And my wife and I, just a little bit earlier, we came into ministry when nobody was talking about retirement. And I wish I could tell you that I was like, I was the first one, but we just we don’t necessarily have. It’s weird to think about retirement like the word.

00:18:30:13 – 00:18:46:10
Unknown
I don’t even know if I love the word, but, you know, I’m like, I just want to keep doing ministry, but not tied to something that people were forced to, like, keep me alive, you know? Like, that’s the desire, you know, I just want to I just want to continue doing it without, you know, that the element if possible.

00:18:46:10 – 00:19:03:25
Unknown
So we were talking about it and and if you’ve ever gone down that wormhole and you don’t have what maybe you would need to retire, and then all of a sudden you’re starting to be faced with this reality, like, I’m turning 48 in 2 days. And I was like, I’m not old, but I’m not. As you know, I’m a little closer than I used to be.

00:19:03:25 – 00:19:20:02
Unknown
I don’t know if compound interest works the same at this point in my life, you know, or whatever, all the things that are taught. So forgive me if I sound really irresponsible. We do better with our missionaries now, okay? We do. We we actually make that part of their budgets and all that stuff. But we just we came in a little bit before all that was talked about.

00:19:20:02 – 00:19:38:21
Unknown
And, and it was a moment where we actually were like, we’re privileged, we’re missionaries, but we’re givers. We’re like you. That’s actually for us. It’s been the knee jerk reaction. We just give ourselves out of problems. And God’s just that good. You guys have experienced this, so we’re just like, hey, we need this. What can we give away?

00:19:38:22 – 00:19:56:10
Unknown
You know, kind of thing. I know it makes sense in the kingdom outside. It’s like what you know, and and so we started like me, I won’t blame my wife. I started talking about, like, should we like. It feels weird to reduce our giving, to try to figure out a way to, you know, and I just felt like I was like.

00:19:56:12 – 00:20:13:14
Unknown
And I mean, the Lord was so good. He just like Jeremy your. Give her a stop. Stop trying to think through that lens. I was like, thank you. Okay, so but it was that moment is that moment of freedom I haven’t even like given what we’re going to give for the year yet. But he sees the intention of your heart.

00:20:13:14 – 00:20:41:12
Unknown
And somehow in that moment, I was not thinking about a ministry budget and $25,000 for chairs and all that stuff. And a day later is when me and Mario end up talking and we’re given that extravagant gift. And I just want to encourage anybody in this room that I understand that, you know, we don’t lean on our owner’s standing in this faith, but by faith, we do understand that doesn’t begin at the formation of the war or end at the formation of the world.

00:20:41:12 – 00:20:59:15
Unknown
It’s actually the Christian life by faith, we understand absolutely makes sense by faith. So if there’s anybody in this house that I feel like if there’s a struggle in that area. I’m not asking for your money. I’m not asking for an offering. I’m just saying get before the Lord and maybe ask one question God, what can I give?

00:20:59:17 – 00:21:21:27
Unknown
And just watch what he does, right? And and if he doesn’t show up, Jonathan’s God. You know, I was kidding. I was ready to know. He will. He will. All right. And then last, last testimony that was just to release that just prophetically. Thank you Lord that we can never out give you thank for the freedom to be givers and not focus on things.

00:21:21:27 – 00:21:39:12
Unknown
So please don’t hear what I’m not saying. If you got retirement accounts or savings accounts, there’s storehouses. Do that. All right. Please don’t hear what I’m not saying. I’m just saying it’s a healthy place to give from. And then there was actually this other testimony I felt like I need to release specifically over family. I’m going to make it a little speedily for the sake of time.

00:21:39:12 – 00:21:59:20
Unknown
But I was on a flight going through Las Vegas. There was a man that set next to me, and he had like an air machine described to this whole process of basically his career destroyed his body. He can barely breathe. He’s got this machine on the flight. He’s constantly using it to breathe just by nature, to being able to listen to him and invite him into the presence of the Lord.

00:21:59:21 – 00:22:16:12
Unknown
We’re at the landing point of that flight. I think it was only like a 45 minute flight from wherever I was coming from. And I’m like praying with him to surrender his life to Christ as this lady. He’s like, put your seats back up. You know that. You know that awkward moment where you’re like, you know, like, you know, the devil is a liar.

00:22:16:13 – 00:22:36:12
Unknown
You don’t know. But no, we’re so we made it, though, like you receive Christ. But significantly, the Lord healed his body completely. So this guy is. And in a year later, like we had texted our family, had written prophetic words and sent him to him like we were living in Hawaii at this point. And so I hadn’t seen him or anything.

00:22:36:12 – 00:22:56:10
Unknown
And a year later, he sends me a picture. Here’s what’s crazy his family had actually disassociated with him. His kids had left him. His wife had left him. So it wasn’t just a body that was broken. His spirit was broken when I met him on that airplane. And this man in one year’s time, he when he sends me a picture a year later, I haven’t talked to him.

00:22:56:10 – 00:23:21:03
Unknown
I haven’t even, like super thought of him, really. And it’s a picture of him and his whole family at Christmas. And he goes, you wouldn’t believe what God. I was like, oh, tell me, brother. Like God completely restored his family and I just want to proclaim the blood of Christ, the body of Christ, over each and every one of us today that paid to restore what was broken.

00:23:21:03 – 00:23:42:10
Unknown
It is a present moment reality in every moment of our life. So whether it’s my testimony, whether it’s kids, whether it’s spouses, whatever it is, God is a big fan of this. So much so that he gave his only son not only to reconcile us, but to restore that which was broken. So, father, I just thank you for that.

00:23:42:10 – 00:24:08:16
Unknown
Across this house, I bring my faith into agreement with their faith and ultimately with your word and with your truth, the restoration God, we surrender our history to you. We surrender everything in our history to you, God, both pains and joys alike. Because it is your story. It is his story at the place of surrender. And much like when we receive communion, we receive the elements.

When you do this in remembrance of me, when you submit in remembrance of me, you proclaim, you actually proclaim the same power of restoration over your future, over present and over things to come. Since Jesus name and bless my friends. Amen. Alright, I am going to. I’m going to be running hard on this. You guys, I love you for being patient with me here, but.

00:24:35:07 – 00:24:55:04
Unknown
So just just a little bit of a clear picture. Met in 2004. It’s been a wild ride. I mentioned about the campuses we got to got to plant. These are with young men and women that typically have been saved on university campuses. And then at some point God calls some of them. Most of them are in the marketplace.

00:24:55:04 – 00:25:16:18
Unknown
So when you guys talk about reaching marketplace always said that’s that’s one third of our vision. It’s also the one third of our vision that I am, I am aggressively going after right now is what it is to display the kingdom in the marketplace. And it’s a very simple practice, and it’s not something I’m going to actually heavily focus on right now.

00:25:16:20 – 00:25:42:28
Unknown
But currently we just deployed a little under 20 short term missions teams. We have about 28 full time missionaries that are setting foot on the mission field. God has graced us in this hour to send out and to build out, and I felt that even in our conversation yesterday. But I’d like to just ask for you. I mentioned this, this scripture as well, yesterday, but I think it’s in Zechariah.

00:25:42:28 – 00:26:09:01
Unknown
He says, we’re in the time of rain, in the time of latter rain cry out for rain. And when God is doing something powerful and significant, whether it’s a moment this morning of beautiful repentance and that’s bringing forth praise or whatever it is, it’s not the moment to go. Who? Oh, that was good. Thank you. It’s actually to incite a hunger and to recognize that’s the nature of God.

00:26:09:02 – 00:26:32:26
Unknown
It’s an invitation to more that, you know, 25 K of chairs is just God saying, so what else can you imagine? You know what I’m saying? Like, what else can you imagine how many people can hear and know the goodness of God this week after I just met one on an airplane? How? What are you doing, Lord? It’s just open my eyes and create a deeper hunger for more.

00:26:32:26 – 00:26:57:12
Unknown
And so I felt that this morning and and our entire, like our entire lives, I suppose our entire like desire was never to replace maybe the local church, but on universities, how could we reach lost and disciples saved you? You are a phenomenal picture of when intentionality meets the sovereignty of God here. There’s one thing to believe that God will show up.

00:26:57:12 – 00:27:23:22
Unknown
It’s another thing to intentionally say we’re going after it, not just whenever you want to. You know, kind of this passive approach. And there is a there is a beauty and a power and display that comes through that. But with that, with that place stepping on campuses of recognizing, hey, every Christian is not an evangelist, but we all have the privilege of witnessing, right?

00:27:23:25 – 00:28:00:04
Unknown
You’ll be baptized in fire and you will be my witnesses. Significantly, we will be witnesses. We won’t do witnessing. Interesting. So perhaps it’s more of a product of a place that you and I love and enjoy so much, like the presence of God here. And perhaps witnessing is actually more of a product of being saturated and overcome, and things just actually display out of our life.

00:28:00:07 – 00:28:31:13
Unknown
Yeah, we could not help but share because we believed is what the Apostle Paul or the apostles would say. You will be my witnesses, my observers, witnesses, observers is another word for witnesses or testers. So the picture of this was actually made very clear to me years ago. And first Samuel 19. I’m just going to reference it. We’re going to read through some other scriptures, but this is when David, of course, is hiding out in the school of the prophets.

00:28:31:13 – 00:28:53:03
Unknown
And Saul, of course, send some servants to get him. That doesn’t work. Siri. Well, so then Saul himself goes into the school of prophets. And what happens? There’s an atmosphere of people that are given to both receiving and releasing what God is saying and doing. David’s hiding in that place, and a man with wickedness and murder in his heart enters that place.

00:28:53:03 – 00:29:14:26
Unknown
And what happens? It says he falls to his knees and actually begins to prophesy. So much so that there was confusion in the kid. They were like, it’s all a prophet, you know? But there was something so powerful about a people that were given to the word and the ways of God. What are you saying? What do we receive and we release?

00:29:14:26 – 00:29:36:03
Unknown
What would it be if a people would just be in that place to receive and release? And no matter who walked into that place, what was in their heart or mind, it would actually call them into their destiny. What if this is more about atmosphere than it is about tactical training? I love training, trust me, give a lot of time to it.

00:29:36:03 – 00:30:04:09
Unknown
But what if this action, what if all of our training actually leads to restructuring the entire ecosystem because ecosystems determines what lives or dies? So what lives in music? What lives in the greater Tuolumne County? Why don’t we get to determine that? That would be a beautiful picture of ecclesia or Ecclesia. Yeah. So that’s the that’s what’s driven a conviction for these years.

00:30:04:09 – 00:30:45:10
Unknown
In fact, it’s matched by First Corinthians. I wrote down at 14, 14, 24 when it says, if if all of you are prophesying in a unbeliever or pre-Christian walks in, what happens? They’ll follow their knees. They will be convicted and convinced, and they will declare that surely God is among you. Why? Because there was a people once again gathered in his name, receiving and releasing what he is saying, and simply by an atmosphere created by those who were focused not on how do I tactically get this person to convert, but how what does it look like to glorify God?

00:30:45:11 – 00:31:04:10
Unknown
So I’m gonna walk through some scriptures with you guys. Go with this. All right. I’m gonna walk through some basic level again. This might be real elementary. Come back next week. It’ll get deeper. It’s all good. All right, all right. So what’s that look like? John 17 three. This is my basis for the majority of it. John 17 three is a brand new believer.

00:31:04:11 – 00:31:26:28
Unknown
God led me to this scripture. This is eternal life. Jesus said that they may know you speaking of the father, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you sent the word no. If you’re familiar with any of the Greek or Hebrew context is gonna go, I might be saying that wrong, forgive me, is an intimate knowing of God.

00:31:26:29 – 00:31:47:12
Unknown
It’s the face to face picture of what we were designed for. This is eternal life. We often quote John 316, but what is what is the goal of our father in that? Yeah, right. He so loved the world that he gave that we would all what have eternal life. He gave his son that we would have eternal life.

00:31:47:12 – 00:31:57:28
Unknown
But eternal life is defined as an intimate knowing of our Father and his Son.

00:31:58:01 – 00:32:21:03
Unknown
You and I were designed to live in unbroken fellowship with him. Yeah. Can I say it that way? Unbroken connection. That’s very liberating. I shared with him last night I first got saved. I thought I was supposed to learn all the apologetics so I could prove everyone wrong on my college campuses. Okay. Don’t get me if you’re an apologetics buff.

00:32:21:04 – 00:32:41:03
Unknown
Praise God for you. I stink at arguing. Or as maybe some would say, I’m good at arguing, but so much so that I lose all the fruit of the spirit and it doesn’t matter. Anyways. I won the argument and they’re eternally damned. You know that didn’t work out so well.

00:32:41:06 – 00:33:07:10
Unknown
But we were all designed to receive and release the father’s heart. We were all designed to be witnesses. It’s not to say we don’t do anything, that’s for sure. Right. He came, did his father’s will, and he will finish his work. He came to finish. We’re also finishers. But hear me on this. Psalms 32 eight says this I will instruct you, and I will teach you in the way you should go.

00:33:07:17 – 00:33:11:24
Unknown
I will guide you with my I.

00:33:11:26 – 00:33:44:05
Unknown
That speaks of approximately, that speaks of a focus of the believer in this life. So I was 42. I’m going to match two scriptures together. They’re found in the same section in Psalms 42. He says, why are you downcast? Oh my soul. Why are you disquieted? Excuse me, this is verse five, disquieted within me. Hope in God, for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance here, that for the help of his countenance.

00:33:44:06 – 00:34:02:14
Unknown
Just a few scriptures later, verses nine and 11, I will say to my God and my rock, why have you forgotten me? Why do I go to mourning? Because the oppressed to the enemy. As with the breaking of my bones, my enemies reproach me while they say to me all day long, where is your God? Why are you downcast?

00:34:02:14 – 00:34:31:13
Unknown
So, my soul, why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I will yet praise him for the help of my countenance and my God. This is the place where his countenance becomes my countenance. His first prayer, just five verses earlier, describes the countenance of God, the smile of God, the one who laughs at the plans of the enemies.

00:34:31:15 – 00:34:44:10
Unknown
And just moments later, with the same questions in his heart. He may still have questions in his heart, but there is a new resolve, and there is a countenance that changes his own.

00:34:44:13 – 00:34:48:09
Unknown
Witness.

00:34:48:11 – 00:35:12:00
Unknown
Many of you have. Forgive me, I forgot to write. The rest is First Corinthians, I believe, it says, but behold, we all with unveiled face. Behold, as in the mirror, the glory of the Lord. And we are, and we are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the spirit of the Lord his countenance.

00:35:12:02 – 00:35:16:01
Unknown
Have you found his eyes?

00:35:16:03 – 00:35:43:25
Unknown
Is there anything that would cause my eyes, your eyes, our eyes, to focus on something less? What would the benefit be, even if there were? And again in Psalm 67, God, be merciful to us and bless us, cause his face to shine upon us, that your way would be known in all of the earth, your salvation among the nations.

00:35:43:28 – 00:36:14:12
Unknown
How fascinating that in his face, in his countenance. Look at the next set of scriptures, that your way would be made known, that speaks of a people who are caught up in the countenance of their father, who become what they behold. Just as in the mirror, the glory of the Lord is transforming our face. And these times of worship together in community are not just moments, they are actually parts that set us out.

00:36:14:16 – 00:36:40:21
Unknown
They are parts that allow our face to take upon his countenance and become his countenance. Because we become what we behold. This is fascinating. I want I’m not I’m not a scientist, nor do I claim to be. But you know that sun is 400 times wider and 400 times further than the moon. But when you’re standing on Earth, they just about look like the same size.

00:36:40:24 – 00:37:13:03
Unknown
Yeah. On the daytime you see the sun. Well, but the moon, where does it get its light? Very simple. Right? How it reflects the one that is much bigger further away, but seeing the same in light. Here’s an environment of light. Very easy to see the sun and believe. Yeah, but the moon is best seen when the backdrop is darkness.

00:37:13:06 – 00:37:32:11
Unknown
Perhaps like a world that we live in that needs the reflection, needs the ones whose eyes are attentive to his eyes, and that take upon themselves the countenance of the one who loves them. And they love. This, I believe, is witness.

00:37:32:14 – 00:37:53:25
Unknown
Each day we get to start with our family in a time of altar or devotion. Sometimes we call it. And when we begin this, about eight years ago, I noticed that sometimes our kids or myself even wouldn’t look at the other one when they’re sharing what God has spoken to them through His Word. And that’s what we’re doing, just sharing with one another.

00:37:53:25 – 00:38:15:11
Unknown
What did God speak to you through His Word today? And I notice this was happening and I was kind of I found this like I think by default, I don’t know if somebody told me about it, but I found this definition of honor or respect that was biblically rooted, that says to give attention to to actually honor someone is to give attention to.

00:38:15:12 – 00:38:41:07
Unknown
Yeah. And you’ve seen the picture of when a king comes in, everybody stands up, or even sometimes a pastor walks in and people stand up or guess, you know, like they’re expressing honor by giving their attention. They’re paying respects. It’s costing them something. We fuze to focus on maybe something or my text message or whatever it is I am going to give you intentionally what is due to you.

00:38:41:09 – 00:39:11:19
Unknown
This is the process of metamorphosis that I’m going to land on right now. Romans 1212. Many of you are familiar. It says, do not be conformed to this world, but be what transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you would prove what is good and acceptable will of God. This is worship. This is worship, and this is worship, and this is where this is all worship.

00:39:11:21 – 00:39:41:06
Unknown
But why we transform the renewing of our mind that we’re transformation is actually metamorphosis, where we get the word metamorphosis. And if you’re familiar with that process, if we use the little furry caterpillar and the butterfly, did you know that that process that takes place inside the cocoon after it is wrapped itself, that scientists there is some that are like clear pictures and they can see inside, but there’s actually no way to pick apart and understand what’s happening in there.

00:39:41:06 – 00:40:13:14
Unknown
We can explain the outcome and we could observe the process, but we can’t actually explain it. And in fact, when they’ve tried to cut that open to learn and explain, everything dies. So it is in our life, in Christ. There are some places that we reserve for mystery, that we’re meant to be a place where I live beyond my understanding, where I abide, in the place where I wrap myself in what is true, where I fix my eyes upon the one who is true.

00:40:13:14 – 00:40:45:23
Unknown
And I let the work of transformation do, and me what I could never buy myself, manufacture, witness. Do I understand it? No. But I know this. That outside these doors there is a world that is desperate for what you have. Let’s not rewrite the story. This world may feel antagonistic at times. Your campus, your job, whatever it is that places you’re going.

00:40:45:27 – 00:41:09:29
Unknown
I don’t care how dark the darkness is, you’re just the moon reflecting light. Your responsibility is not their reaction to what is good. Your responsibility is to reflect what is good and let God do what he does. Some water, some plant. He gives the increase. And men, I’m going to ask you to stand with me if you don’t mind.

00:41:09:29 – 00:41:25:16
Unknown
And I’m actually. I forgot to ask even I’m not sure if there’s a way you typically end, but I know I’m landing it right on that. So I’m going to. I’m going to do a practice with you right now. You’re welcome to join. Or if you have your own, you want to bend knees, you want to lift hands.

00:41:25:19 – 00:41:47:24
Unknown
There was a people called the Quakers because they actually quaked in the presence of God. But they did this fun thing. I thought I picked it up and I used it sometimes, but they would actually put their hands in front of them. And I’m going to ask you to join me in this. And I feel like today there may be places where perhaps your eyes are my eyes have been swayed from the one focus.

00:41:47:26 – 00:41:58:20
Unknown
Blessed are the pure in heart. Why they will see God. You know what a pure heart means. That word, broken down is literally one in focus.

00:41:58:22 – 00:42:18:21
Unknown
So if there is anything that is swaying, distracting, I’m going to ask you to do what the Quakers did. They would actually aim their feet at the ground almost as they were letting go of, or pointing down and letting things out of their hand, that they were caring, that they ought not carry things that were requiring their attention, that they were not meant.

00:42:18:23 – 00:42:24:19
Unknown
Perhaps they were meant to give attention through him, but not apart from him.

00:42:24:22 – 00:42:49:13
Unknown
Holy spirit, thank you. You’re free to move about the cabin in any way you want to respond to the Lord. But I’m asking right now that you you would take this before the Lord, and if there is anything that has swayed your eyes, let his countenance become your countenance once again. Let that go even say the words verbally, if you can, God I release it may be unforgiveness.

00:42:49:15 – 00:43:21:21
Unknown
It may be worry about your future, present, family, whatever it is, it’s legitimate and that it has importance. But the only way to approach it is through his face. So we let down at your feet again, and when you are ready, I want you to turn your hands upward and turn your eyes once again to the one who says, let me give you my countenance.

00:43:21:24 – 00:43:44:12
Unknown
Let my light be the light upon your face. This world, the nations, will know his ways because of a people who are given to his eyes. Father, instruct us with your eyes. Guide us with your eyes.

00:43:44:15 – 00:43:50:10
Unknown
We receive, Lord, we receive from you.

00:43:50:12 – 00:44:18:00
Unknown
If there’s anybody today that is coming to this place and you do not have a history with God, or perhaps you once did and you walked away from him. Act 1726 clearly states, what’s taking place in this moment, as it is with every day that Scripture says that the the days and the boundaries and the times of your life were predestined by God so that you can seek him and find him.

00:44:18:03 – 00:44:41:08
Unknown
He says this of all nations that were formed from one blood. So that includes you. And I’m not going to belabor this, but I’m going to say this morning was not a church service. It was an invitation into your divine destiny. And if that’s you and you’re a far off from God, he says, I am near and I want you.

00:44:41:09 – 00:45:01:09
Unknown
He actually gave the life of his perfect son so that you could know him eternally and intimately. And I want to give you that opportunity. If today you’re saying, I want to let go of a life lived without God and surrender my life to him through his perfect son, Jesus Christ, I want you to just lift your hand.

00:45:01:09 – 00:45:22:08
Unknown
I’m going to pray with you. It’s no shame, is not. Thank you. Thank you for your honesty. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus. Church, I’d like to ask if you, along with these new brothers and sisters in the faith, if there’s somebody lifting a hand next to you, would you put a hand on their shoulder? And I want to introduce you.

00:45:22:10 – 00:45:46:25
Unknown
Those of you that lifted your hand, I want to introduce you to something called brotherhood and sisterhood called Family in Christ. You’re going to pray right now a prayer before your father, and he’s welcome you into this new life. But that life includes the family of God, that person. They’re going to walk with you. They’re going to help you understand where to go, to who to talk to you, how to grow.

00:45:46:26 – 00:46:09:13
Unknown
Okay. Thank you, father church, would you pray these words together with me and those of you that raise your hand, would you vocalize these things as a prayer to God? There’s no magic in the words. It’s about your heart. Say, Heavenly Father, I thank you for the gift of Jesus Christ.

00:46:09:15 – 00:46:16:05
Unknown
I thank you for providing salvation for my soul.

00:46:16:08 – 00:46:21:28
Unknown
And for providing eternal life for my days.

00:46:22:00 – 00:46:56:18
Unknown
Today I surrender my life. I surrender every attitude and action, everything that separated me from you. I lay it at your feet and I declare you are my God. You are my Lord and you are my Savior. Lead me, guide me. I receive your Holy Spirit and I thank you, Jesus, for this divine life that you welcome me to.

00:46:56:21 – 00:47:21:20

I am yours in your mind and we will be together forever. Amen. Amen. Amen. You guys want to celebrate some folks that just did something bold and brave? Pastor Jonathan and I received the vaccine.

00:47:21:22 – 00:47:51:24
Unknown
Thank you. Jeremy. I hope you guys can see what I got to see back in that first moment. 25 years later, he’s still giving us his all today. It’s no coincidence, Jez brother is going to be leading an evangelistic team, and they’re going to be meeting in the chapel at 130 to pray for those who want to join.

00:47:51:26 – 00:47:55:21

Show up there.

00:47:55:24 – 00:48:22:16

You are reflecting the sun. Amen. Also, we have fellowship following service here. And if this is your first time, we have food ready for you. And this is where we hear each other’s stories, where we get to understand one another. And so please join us. It’s a beautiful time and we’re glad to share it with you. So, father.

00:48:22:16 – 00:48:49:16
Unknown
Thank you. Yes. And we want to also pray for Jeremy and his family. So some would come up here. We’re going to we’re going to close this service. Sending them with our love. And if there’s a word from our prophets, we’ll also release it.

00:48:49:19 – 00:48:55:21

So, father, I thank you.

God, for the sacrifice that is made to give their all Lord, to the call you have in their life. Lord, it hasn’t been for riches or for fame. God has been humility. Lord, it’s been standing and courage in difficult places. And today, God, we are so grateful for them. Strengthen them today. God, may your love overwhelm and satisfy has never before.

00:49:37:00 – 00:50:05:00
Unknown
And God, we surround them with our faith and we send them with our faith in you, Jesus, that your name would be glorified and that life and freedom would come everywhere they tread in Jesus name.

00:50:05:02 – 00:50:16:22

Simon, the father says, I see those broken places over those that you’ve poured out, to those that you’ve given your life to, that have even wandered in dry places. There’s been many tears shed over those, and even a brokenness of heart and spirit at times. But the father says, son, I see those, and they’re not lost. Those tears that you shed and all that time that you spent before me, pouring out for them and interceding for their lives.

00:50:56:20 – 00:51:09:07

Your father just wants you to know today that I’ve heard your cries, I’ve heard your prayers. I’ve heard your intercessions. And my hand is upon them.

I saw a doorway, and before the door there was this, like, carpet rug. The doorway was representation of Jesus. And I saw your family as this rug that had been laid out to wipe the dirt and the grime and the dust off of people’s feet as they entered through this doorway. And then I saw the Lord go before the rug and grab it and, like, shake it out and shake out all the dust and shake out all the dirt and grab something immediately to clean out some of the stuff that gotten stuck in the rug and just stained the rug a little bit.

00:52:23:19 – 00:52:35:11

The largest wants to affirm his word, that he has seen you in the quiet place, and he’s seen the people that you brought before him, and the burdens and the the challenges, even in ministry. And he has seen you, and he’s walking with you, and he just wants to refresh your heart today and refresh your soul and just remind you that you are not walking this alone.

He says, daughter, you are not alone. You are not in the shadows, says, daughter. I’m giving you strength so that you can be a strength to others, but you don’t have to hold everything up on your own. So the burden that’s been on your shoulders, the Lord takes it off today and he releases you from it. And he’s pouring into his strength and his peace and his healing.

Here we may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. And this time in the earth. I have heard every cry in your hearts. And I’ve made you for this time even greater than the past. Because you see the darkness, you see the young people and it ruins you. But I created you to be rescuers, and you know that.

And you rescued many. But this is a different time that we’re in. In many ways we feel the darkness, but we also see that it is an opportune time. It is the time of the Lord breaking down doors, of seeing miracles that we’ve longed for, where the My Word is confirmed with signs and wonders. So the Lord would just say, don’t limit me in any way I hear you, and I made you your whole family for this time.

You know, and Jeremy and Deborah did not ask us to do this, but I just wanted to give you guys an opportunity. Celebrate some graduates who.

Jeremy Anderson opened with a testimony of God’s activity among university students, declaring that there is a hunger and thirst for God in this generation. In places where many people may expect resistance, God is already drawing hearts. He is moving on secular campuses, reaching students, awakening desire, and calling young men and women into His kingdom purpose.

This is an important reminder for the Church: do not lose hope when you look at the next generation. Do not assume that darkness has the final word. God is still pursuing people. God is still encountering hearts. God is still raising up witnesses who will carry His kingdom into the nations.

Jeremy shared that he and his wife have spent decades serving students, seeing them give their degrees to the Lord and take the gospel into unreached places. Their story is not just about campus ministry. It is about the kingdom of God advancing through surrendered lives.

If It Is Kingdom, It Is Transferable

One of the strong themes Jeremy carried was generational faithfulness. He honored the legacy in the room and reminded the church that God designed His kingdom to move from generation to generation.

He said, “If it is Kingdom, it’s transferable.”

The Christian life is not meant to end with us. Faith, fire, courage, testimony, prayer, and obedience are meant to be passed on. We are called to live in such a way that those behind us receive more than information. They receive impartation.

This means older generations still carry fire. Younger generations still need mothers and fathers in the faith. The Church is most powerful when generations are not separated, but joined together in worship, mission, and love.

The Power of Praying Grandparents

Jeremy shared a deeply personal testimony about the night he came to Christ. As a teenager, he was on his way to take a man’s life when his car would not start. At the same time, his grandparents, who had moved in obedience to the Holy Spirit to see their family come to Christ, showed up at his doorstep and invited him to dinner.

That night, they brought him to hear Billy Graham preach. Instead of his hands being covered in blood, Jeremy found himself receiving the blood of Jesus.

This testimony carries a prophetic encouragement: never stop praying.

Parents, grandparents, spiritual mothers and fathers — do not grow weary. Even when someone’s life looks far from God, prayer is not wasted. Intercession has a way of standing in the gap when people cannot see clearly for themselves. God hears the cries of those who contend for family.

Jeremy’s life is living evidence that prayer can interrupt destruction and open the door to salvation.

The Testimony of Jesus Is the Spirit of Prophecy

Jeremy anchored much of his ministry philosophy in Revelation 19:10: the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

A testimony is not just a story about what God did. It is an invitation for God to do it again. When we declare the goodness, power, healing, salvation, and restoration of God, we are releasing hope into the atmosphere.

Jeremy shared how their campus ministry would gather students to testify publicly about what Jesus had done in their lives. The point was not performance. It was expectation. If God transformed one life, He could transform another. If He healed one person, He could heal another. If He saved one student, He could save another.

The Church must recover confidence in testimony. Our stories are not small. They are prophetic invitations.

We Are Called to Receive and Release

Jeremy painted a picture from both First Samuel 19 and First Corinthians 14. In First Samuel, Saul entered the company of prophets with wickedness in his heart, yet the atmosphere of prophecy caused him to fall and prophesy. In First Corinthians 14, Paul describes a gathering where an unbeliever walks in and becomes convinced that God is truly among His people.

Jeremy’s point was clear: there is power in an atmosphere formed by people who receive and release what God is saying.

This does not remove the need for training, evangelism, or intentionality. But it reminds us that evangelism is not merely a tactic. Witness flows from presence. When a people become saturated with God, they carry something that changes the atmosphere around them.

The question becomes: what kind of ecosystem are we creating?

If ecosystems determine what lives or dies, then a Spirit-filled people can help cultivate places where faith, repentance, healing, salvation, courage, and hope live.

Eternal Life Is Knowing Him

Jeremy brought the message to John 17:3, where Jesus defines eternal life as knowing the Father and Jesus Christ whom He sent.

Eternal life is not only a future destination. It is intimate fellowship with God. It is unbroken connection. It is face-to-face knowing.

This changes the way we understand witness. We are not first called to argue people into the kingdom. We are called to know Him, behold Him, and reflect Him.

Jeremy admitted that early in his faith, he thought he needed to learn apologetics so he could prove everyone wrong. But the deeper revelation was this: people were designed to receive and release the Father’s heart.

The goal is not to win arguments while losing the fruit of the Spirit. The goal is to become so attentive to God’s face that His heart is revealed through our lives.

His Countenance Becomes Our Countenance

One of the most beautiful themes of the message was the countenance of God. Jeremy connected Psalm 32, Psalm 42, Psalm 67, and 2 Corinthians 3 to show that God wants to instruct us with His eyes and transform us as we behold Him.

When we look at Him, we become like Him.

His face changes our face. His peace becomes our peace. His light becomes our light. His joy becomes visible through us. This is not performance. This is transformation.

Jeremy said that worship gatherings are not merely moments. They are places where our faces take on His countenance so that we can be sent back into the world as reflections of Him.

The Moon Reflects the Sun

Jeremy used the picture of the sun and moon to explain witness. The moon has no light of its own. It reflects the sun. And the moon is often most visible against the backdrop of darkness.

This is a powerful picture of the Church.

We do not create the light. We reflect the Son.

The world may feel dark. Our workplaces, campuses, families, and communities may feel resistant. But darkness is not a reason to hide. It is the very backdrop where reflected light becomes visible.

Our responsibility is not to control people’s reactions. Our responsibility is to reflect what is good and trust God with the increase.

Transformation Happens in the Hidden Place

Jeremy also taught from Romans 12, describing transformation as metamorphosis. Like a caterpillar in a cocoon, there are hidden places in God where transformation happens beyond our ability to explain.

We can observe the fruit. We can see the outcome. But we cannot always dissect the mystery of what God is doing.

There are parts of the Christian life that must remain surrendered to mystery. We wrap ourselves in truth. We fix our eyes on Jesus. We abide in Him. And He does in us what we could never manufacture ourselves.

This is how witness is formed. Not by striving, but by beholding. Not by self-effort, but by surrender. Not by human understanding, but by the Spirit of God.

Let Go and Turn Your Eyes Again

Jeremy closed by leading the church in a physical act of surrender. He invited people to release the things that had pulled their attention away from the one true focus.

Worry. Unforgiveness. Fear about the future. Family burdens. Present struggles. Legitimate concerns that still must be brought through the face of God.

The call was simple: let go, then turn your hands upward and receive again.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. A pure heart is one in focus.

The invitation of the message is not only to do more for God. It is to behold Him again. To receive His countenance. To reflect His light. To live as witnesses because we have been with Him.

Practical Application

  1. Do not stop praying for family.
God can interrupt destruction and bring salvation in a moment.
  2. Share testimonies with expectation.
What God has done before can become an invitation for Him to do it again.
  3. Ask God what you can give.
Generosity flows from trust, not fear.
  4. Become intentional about atmosphere.
Your home, church, workplace, and ministry can become places where people encounter God.
  5. Fix your eyes on His face.
    You become what you behold.
  6. Let go of what has taken your attention.
Bring every burden through His presence, not apart from Him.
  7. Reflect the Son in dark places.
Your responsibility is not to control the outcome. Your responsibility is to shine.

Discussion Guide

Summary

Jeremy Anderson’s message centered on living as witnesses who reflect the countenance of God. Through personal testimony, campus ministry stories, and Scripture, he reminded the church that God is moving powerfully in this generation. He encouraged believers to never stop praying, to release testimony with expectation, and to understand witness as the overflow of intimacy with God. As we behold the Lord, His face changes our face, and we become reflections of His light in a dark world.
