A message from Apostle Les Bowling

With a foreword by Apostle Sheila Bowling

In this powerful message, Apostle Les Bowling calls the Church to embrace its identity as a planted people in a planted place. Drawing from Psalm 92, Matthew 13, and Genesis 2, he reminds us that God doesn’t just create; He plants.
Being planted means belonging—being rooted in community, covenant, and calling. A planted person carries authority, endures pruning, and produces fruit that remains.

one that picked you up and turned your around and set you on solid ground. Oh, come on, give him one more big shout.

00;00;07;22 – 00;00;30;08

One more. Come on. Walls come down when you shout. Come on. And oh you’re like who is that little five foot two girl? Y’all going to have a seat, I’m Sheila Bolling, and we’re so glad to be here with you. And, I know sometimes we come into this kind of an environment and we’re like, I don’t really know her, but you know what?

You all opened up the heavenlies this morning. I’m telling you, I love this church. You all know I love this church. I tell you all the time that revival is here. It’s not just coming, but it is here. And you have to recognize that and accept it and thank him for what he is doing. Signs, miracles and wonders are already happening and I experience those on Friday night as we joined you, which was so good that we get to just set in and experience what God is doing.

00;00;59;29 – 00;01;20;04

We were a part of the Brownsville Revival, but I’m telling you, this is different. Can you say Amen? Yes. I’m telling you, there is such a purity and a holiness that you feel when you walk in these rooms. It’s been every time I’ve come here and I’m like, God, what is happening in the Lord? Begin to speak to me.

00;01;20;04 – 00;01;41;09
Unknown
And I actually spoke to this. I don’t know if they’re married or not, but a couple about being married. Are you here that I prayed over? And I thought, yeah, I think I told them, there you are about the pattern. And I kept hearing the spirit of the Lord saying that you don’t have to bow to the pattern of the world, and you’re not doing that because you’re a set apart, people.

00;01;41;09 – 00;02;00;28

God has already consecrated you, set you apart for his will. What you’re doing here in Miwok will not just be here in Milwaukee, but it will be heard around the world. And God is like, all ready. Come on. Because I’m part of your cheerleader right here, and I am. I’m already jumping. You have to come to me. Walk California.

00;02;00;28 – 00;02;26;28
Unknown
They’re like, where? And I’m like, where there’s revival. You gotta go and some of our great friends that’s in our network, pastor Jack and Pastor Marty, we just stand up. They have come up for the weekend getaway and Pastor Marty was actually with me the first time I came here. We were doing Devil’s Voice in Washington on the grounds there, and we came and we got to meet, oh my goodness, Apostle Schilling.

00;02;27;01 – 00;02;57;24
Unknown
I mean, can you just say, oh my. I call her the B woman. The shepherds, shepherds, the black sheep flying everywhere. And Apostle Pat, we love you guys so much. And your new pastors, oh my goodness, aren’t they wonderful? I mean, come on church, get me up and stand up. Come on. They’re wonderful. Wonderful, powerful, powerful.

00;02;57;27 – 00;03;18;05
Unknown
And I don’t think you have to worry about them bowing down anyway. I don’t think you have to worry about them being concerned about, you know, there’s pressures as pastors, and sometimes that time line can get in there where, you know, you’re just. I’m sorry. You’re preaching today. You’re good, you’re good, you’re good. You guys are blessed.

00;03;18;05 – 00;03;36;26
Unknown
You hung with me for that long prayer meeting last time I was here. Actually, though, thank you all for giving me the testimonies. Even heard one that was healed of cancer during that time. And so yeah, give the Lord a big hand clap. Come on, it’s him. Amen. But you don’t have to worry about them bowing down to that.

00;03;36;26 – 00;04;02;24

And as I watched this beautiful time of ministry at the altar this morning, that is exactly what God is doing. He’s calling an end time remnant. And he’s been talking to me about this remnant. You know, remnant is that which can stand when everything else is gone. And what’s going to enable. They set apart consecrated people like you guys to be able to stand is because you all have given your all to the Lord.

00;04;02;27 – 00;04;23;14
Unknown
Only set apart. People can be a part of this in time remnant because you know the Bible too. Okay, I’m going to preach. Okay. The I’m time. I better just stop. Okay. You’re good. He said I’m good. What are you standing? I’ll pray before he comes. Maybe that I help. Father. I just thank you, Lord, for this congregation.

00;04;23;14 – 00;04;39;04
Unknown
I thank you for what you’re doing. God, I pray over every man, every woman, God that they are who exactly you have called him to be. And, father, they have chosen to be set apart for this day and this hour. God. So, father, I thank you, Lord, that you give them the strength, the strength that they need in this last day.

00;04;39;04 – 00;04;59;01
Unknown
The enemy might come in the last day to wear out the holy ones, but he’s not going to wear this group of people here out. They’ve already set apart. They do not complain about their timelines. They are just here to serve you. And so God bless them, strengthen them and encourage him on this journey. In Jesus name, Amen.

00;04;59;03 – 00;05;05;04
Unknown
Now welcome Apostle. Last good.

00;05;05;07 – 00;05;08;13
Unknown
Oh my.

00;05;08;16 – 00;05;14;11
Unknown
Well, why do I have to be last?

00;05;14;14 – 00;05;40;20
Unknown
So it’s all been good to this point. All right. To right here. So long as I don’t get up here, mess it up, we can still say we had a good time. This is just been an incredible, I will say, surprise and a refreshing for me. Yeah, we’ve been hit that hard on the road and so on and so forth.

00;05;40;20 – 00;06;07;26
Unknown
And, I was actually just outside Vancouver, Washington, just, last, last weekend. Yeah. And come back to Ohio on Monday. Left thirsty to come out here. And before that it was what was it, Singapore. Oklahoma. Something else in between. And anyway, but we’re just honored to be here. And, you know, how, you know, you can.

00;06;07;26 – 00;06;47;09
Unknown
Spirit’s willing, but the flesh is tired. All right. So I was I have been so refreshed with this spirit and truth praise conference and, you know, I’m not as much of as of an artsy guy as my wife. But I am telling you, I’ve been, all over the world and been in all kinds of different settings, but that is absolutely the best and most powerful praise and worship dynamic that I have ever been in.

00;06;47;11 – 00;06;54;23
Unknown
And my Christian journey, that’s a fact. Yeah.

00;06;54;25 – 00;07;21;06
Unknown
And we’ve been around some some heavy hitters and so on and so forth. But the Lord, everybody’s a home run hitter here. And, so everybody’s batting a thousand. So, just incredible. I was talking with G back there, was talking about and I said, you know, I’ve learned a lot in these last few days, because there’s more I don’t know than what I do know, that’s for sure.

00;07;21;08 – 00;07;45;13
Unknown
And, I mean, just, and in the activation of it, also the revelation of it, is well, and and the humility and the authentic place that it comes from. And so I just, I was just blessed. So also, I’m going to say, is this, next year’s spirit and truth? Our whole praise team is going to be here.

00;07;45;16 – 00;08;11;29
Unknown
Yeah. And so and I’m going to press the envelope, with our network and tell them to get all their people and themselves, out here for that. I never been to a voice of God. The seminar. I feel like I’ve seen it all in spirit and truth. I just. I feel like that’s been the whole shooting match right there.

00;08;12;02 – 00;08;33;28
Unknown
Anyways, we just, we we we love you. We honor you. We again. Thank you. Pastor Shelly, Pastor Jonathan, for the opportunity to be able to be with you guys. What great leaders. What what great leaders. And and a wisdom and a maturity far beyond their years. And we thank God for them very, very much.

00;08;33;28 – 00;09;17;06
Unknown
And, it just preceded the fellowship and just, just the insight and perspective and, and there’s kind of like a blending of, of, of years of, longevity come in with the, revelation of the present times or, and coming together in that couple, right there. And I thank God for that. First shake that, of course, pastor Pat and, Apostle Pat and Pastor Celine, they, are just, they’re rock stars in our eyes and heart and everybody I know that is around them a little bit is inspired.

00;09;17;08 – 00;09;48;04
Unknown
I mean, inspired. Yeah. Now I go to Africa a lot now, and, and so. But, Apostle Pat is the new dude, in the continent of Africa. He he. So they’re glad they know me to get to him. All right. So, just doing a bang up job there. And, we just love and appreciate him, very, very much.

00;09;48;04 – 00;10;13;11
Unknown
And, of course, the pastor, Jack and Marty, she just got back from, I think Mongolia. And so they travel and go with Resilience Ministries, and we just appreciate, all of them. One of the things that was said and, the spirit and truth was, Cathy, di Matteo was talking about the all of communication, reduces or eliminates friction.

00;10;13;13 – 00;10;19;13
Unknown
And I thought, you know, I’ve communicated a lot, but I’ve not always had oil on it.

00;10;19;16 – 00;10;50;23
Unknown
If you don’t have oil on it, you’re going to cause friction versus reduce it. That was that was insightful. Pastor Shelly said humility is what makes leadership believable. Yeah. I’m owning that one right there. So, it was a great insight. And I remember a couple of years ago, pastor Bob, Wilk, we was over in the fellowship hall and was talking about how long you’ve been here.

00;10;50;23 – 00;11;15;00
Unknown
And, you know, I know 52, 53 or 153 years, something like that. So you’ve been here a minute? I said, wow, really? I said, well, what’s kept you? So long? He said, there come a point when I said, these people are my people. And the Roof and Naomi thing just come up my spirit, you know, where they go, I’m going to go there.

00;11;15;00 – 00;11;41;09
Unknown
God is my God. And, where they die, I’ll die with them. And I have told that story, Bob. A bunch of times, a whole bunch of times to inspire people to embrace their tribe, to fully connect in. And so from that has just come a lot of, a lot of amazing things. So I’m just going to kind of jump into the word I hear.

00;11;41;09 – 00;11;47;20
Unknown
You guys, let go, what, 2 or 3:00, something like that.

00;11;47;22 – 00;12;17;10
Unknown
So just kidding, just kidding. And, of course, Jonathan’s been really preaching the, the, paying off the wall. So, really just was wanting to find a way to play his tape and lip sync this morning. But, the it guys wasn’t quite there. All right, so, Pastor Sheila, of course she is. The fire in my bones and the cream in my coffee and, sugar on my salad.

00;12;17;10 – 00;12;41;19
Unknown
All right, she’s all of it. And, so she is the fun part of this union. All right. And with with, personality. It’s so I just want to just, just share just a little bit. And I have kind of a a thousand words, for you. And it’s, family oriented. This is a really different kind of church.

00;12;41;21 – 00;13;03;01
Unknown
And, I thought, okay, you know, I’ll do some altar stuff at the end. Bethel. Oh, you all do the altar call first. Yeah. Yeah. That that blessed me. Yeah, that blessed me and the men. Yeah.

00;13;03;04 – 00;13;37;08
Unknown
Yeah, that and that struck a deep chord. Very, very deep chord. I feel like, personally, what I feel I feel like everything is in place, in essence, and the body of Christ. Truths restored, doctrines restored, different gifts and ministries, restored, all the fivefold office ministry gifts, all the different things. You all, exemplify, I think the first reformation was get the word of God back into the hands of the people.

00;13;37;10 – 00;13;57;00
Unknown
Second reformation to get the ministry back into the hands of the people. And I think that that has happened. I think that has happened here. But I feel like that the last thing to really get in place is men taking their place, and the body of Christ. Yeah.

00;13;57;02 – 00;14;18;02
Unknown
How many believes that? We live in very different times. And I don’t know about you, but I get weary of, our nation looking like the, you know, the bar scene of a Star Wars movie. You know, I think, man, we had different times, you know? So the nation I grew up in is not the nation I live in.

00;14;18;04 – 00;14;50;23
Unknown
And I and, of course, all of our family comes from eastern, Appalachia, Kentucky. It’s kind of like this territory, minus education. All right. So you all are more refined, more educated, but the same type of, of culture, and eastern Kentucky, they used to have a, a saying said if you if you’re born in Clay County, that’s where my people are from.

00;14;50;25 – 00;15;26;28
Unknown
You got 1 or 3 choices. It’s either coal mine, moonshine or moving on down the line. All right, so my dad decided to move it on down the line and moved to Ohio. So I’ve been mostly raised up in Ohio, but, it’s been said if your grandfather walked ten miles to work, your father walked five, and you drove a car to work, and your son drove a better car, and his son drove a Ferrari, but his son walked again.

00;15;27;01 – 00;16;03;06
Unknown
And so things go in cycles. That’s why we have to raise warriors. And, hard times produces strong men, right? Strong men produce better and easier times. Easy times produce week in and week. Men produce hard times. Yes. And so we’re in a time that I think that God is calling us to, to go, to go deeper.

00;16;03;09 – 00;16;38;11
Unknown
And I was watching what’s it called, tribal Heart. Tribal heart? You realize the Bible’s was mostly written to a tribal culture? Yes. Yeah. With tribes in mind. That was the demographic that was the, kind of the unique, social group, of of of that particular time. And so there was an engaging and all the different generations represented reminded me of, I think the last time I was in Australia and it was it was at a camp and there was New Zealand, people and Australian people there.

00;16;38;14 – 00;17;15;04
Unknown
You ever seen one of those hawkers? Yeah. There’s like they just yell and growl and look mean. All right. And I mean, but it’s you just feel something. It’s kind of reminded me of something like that. That war cry, that war cry, but from a really healthy and a very authentic place. But I want to look at Matthew, Matthew chapter 13, and I want to tell you what, Friday night, I still don’t have the vocabulary to describe that.

00;17;15;07 – 00;17;42;24
Unknown
It’s like, okay, we’re trained all day and it’s just like, okay, here it is Friday night. And that was one of the most supernatural dynamic. I mean, people prophesying and dancing. And then we got on the kettle drums there and, and there’s a worship and the dancing and, and it just kind of going back of us as in not man could never organize that.

00;17;42;27 – 00;18;14;13
Unknown
Yeah. Never can organize that. And this comes out of, a good, strong, healthy, communal type place. And I think God is changing the definition of the church. The church has been institutionalized in people’s minds for so long, and that’s why it, it it doesn’t have longevity in many places. It does here, but in many places it doesn’t, because it’s much easier to leave an institution than it is to leave a family.

00;18;14;15 – 00;18;44;25
Unknown
And so, Psalm 68, he puts the solitary in family. So shout, we are a family. Yeah, yeah, you are for sure are a family and a family and a growing family and a powerful family and a strong family. A family that’s been through the fire and the flood. A family that has a DNA and identity and inheritance and leaving a legacy.

00;18;44;25 – 00;19;12;10
Unknown
An inheritance is what’s been left behind. You grab it, and legacy is who you leave behind. And so you’re raising up something incredible and powerful and and great. Don’t never judge something by its numbers. So you have a great number here. Because the the language of numbers is a is a dry language for Samuel 14, Jonathan said as he’s getting ready to go out against the multitude.

00;19;12;12 – 00;19;38;26
Unknown
Armor bearer, a little bit nervously said, don’t, don’t relax. Nothing hinders the Lord, because the Lord can save by many or the Lord can save by few. And so God can do a big thing through a small thing. As Pastor Sheila was talking about remnant. A remnant is basically what is left over after everything else is gone and from that place Isaiah six said, he said, I want to cut it down.

00;19;38;28 – 00;20;04;20
Unknown
But I’m going to leave a 10th. I’m going to leave a stump. And from that stump I’m going to rebuild. So a remnant is that nucleus of people that has been bonded together through fire, that is, been, come closer together through adversity and doing incredible and powerful things. And I believe that God is wanting to take what’s done here.

00;20;04;20 – 00;20;38;01
Unknown
And he is doing that. He absolutely is doing that. Now, the voice of God is going to Nairobi. Yeah. Of course, pastor lives over there. And Grace, so you’re you’ve entered a phase here at Word of Life that the diaspora is starting to take place. And there comes that point in that time in a ministry, if they stay together long enough and strong enough that God begins to disperse.

00;20;38;03 – 00;20;58;09
Unknown
And what is done here? God wants to reproduce out there. There always will be a drawing here, and this will always be, the base and ground zero and so on and so forth. But to take the spirit and the DNA, I was looking at Friday night, I’m thinking, how in the world can I get that to Columbus?

00;20;58;12 – 00;21;30;23
Unknown
And yeah, I’m just going to have to bring Columbus here first. All right. Yeah. And then we will start here. It will start there. But I was thinking how powerful that is of what God is saying and what God is doing. And a man’s need coming into contact with God’s power that’s able to meet that need. And so there’s a supernatural dynamic, that is taking place here, two, two extremes in the body of Christ I’ve seen over the years.

00;21;30;26 – 00;21;56;02
Unknown
You have, life begging for structure, and then you have structure begging for life. And, if I had to choose, I would rather have life begging for structure. But you have a structure. It’s an organic, holy Spirit structure and a protocol that is in the spirit of everybody. You just kind of know what to do and when to do it.

00;21;56;05 – 00;22;19;29
Unknown
And I just respect that and appreciate that you never want to lose lose that. God will add to that even more and further and deeper and broader and wired wider and higher. He’ll do all of those things, but just, just, it’s important to know who you are and why you are. You will never know your why and let you know who you are.

00;22;20;01 – 00;23;01;20
Unknown
And it’s important who you are. Word of life and what God has for you for such a time as this. So we’re just going to kind of let’s just kind of jump into it a little bit. And I’m going to start off in Matthew 13. Now. I got more message than I do. Time. But in Matthew 13 is, the thrust of the parables of the Kingdom, parables of the kingdom, the sower and, the seed and the grounds and all these different things I’m not wanting to pull, everything from there, but I just want to hit just kind of one point and one concept.

00;23;01;22 – 00;23;26;14
Unknown
Church, how many believes post-Covid. And I don’t want to blame everything on Covid. I think that there was preexisting conditions before Covid came and Covid just exposed them. Really. But, there has been, I don’t know, a devaluing or a less, interest in, quote, the, the church, so on and so forth. But that is switching.

00;23;26;14 – 00;23;52;19
Unknown
I’m seeing that switch and change right now, because there’s no such thing as a self-made person. Yeah. You only successful because other people want you to be somebody has helped you get to where you were at. Nobody gets there by themselves. And so the bringing back of the community and the communion that the body of Christ.

00;23;52;22 – 00;24;21;04
Unknown
But there’s certain things on the inside it’s vitally important to be settled, settled inside of us, and, and to to settle and the in the, in the, in the saddle. Sometimes the breakthrough that we need is not to break out or go past or beyond, but it’s a breakthrough within. Sometimes the sending is not going where you’re not, but it’s being activated where you’re set.

00;24;21;07 – 00;24;49;21
Unknown
And the important to understand how many believes God wants us to grow and I’m talking about grow is is persons and people and so on and so forth. The two healthy pillars of any, healthy civilization is this it’s faith in it’s families. It’s faith. What God believes in that is everything. That is everything. But then it’s the family, because the family unit is where faith is walked out.

00;24;49;24 – 00;25;16;26
Unknown
If you dismantle, the faith, then you dismantle the family. But if you dismantle the family, you also dismantle the faith. And so that communion, that communion, that community, in Ephesians, it talks about the church is a it’s a body. It’s a it’s a building and it’s a bride, two, coming together. It’s a body.

00;25;16;26 – 00;25;50;05
Unknown
Every different body part joined and knit together. It’s a building being joined together to make a habitation of God in the in the spirit. But let’s look here at Matthew 13, and we’re going to look at one very simple thing. And I believe that the Lord has a word for your children. Yeah. Your children. And, I believe it’s in, acts 16 that, in Philippi that long?

00;25;50;05 – 00;26;19;04
Unknown
About the hour of midnight. There’s a persecution. God sent an earthquake. And the jailer, he’s afraid, Paul and Silas, they’ve got freed up out of the prison, and he’s afraid he’s going to be killed, and and, so on and so forth. But the classic statement out of that was this believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you and your household will be saved.

00;26;19;06 – 00;26;48;16
Unknown
Can somebody say Amen? There is going to come a wave of family salvations. There is going to come a wave of family restorations and coming back together. And there’s a lot of promises in it. And the scripture we’re going to just look here. But in Matthew chapter 13, the parable of the sower, I’m not going to go through all of it.

00;26;48;16 – 00;27;19;05
Unknown
I’m just going to put one verse out there and in front of you and, we’ll just kind of roll with it from there. Matthew chapter 13, verse 20, but he who receives the seed on stony ground places, that is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy. Yet verse 21, he has no root.

00;27;19;05 – 00;28;03;22
Unknown
Everybody say roots. He has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles, having no root. To be rooted is vital. Isaiah 37. Just, just want to establish just, a little bit of, faith here through the scriptures. Isaiah 37 and verse 30 says this, this shall be assigned to you.

00;28;03;22 – 00;28;41;14
Unknown
You shall eat this year, such as grows of itself. And the second year was springs from the same also in the third year. So and reap plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. And the remnant who have escaped the house of Judah shall again say again, take root downward, and bear fruit up for it. For out of Jerusalem shall go a remnant.

00;28;41;14 – 00;29;22;24
Unknown
And those who escaped from Mount Zion. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this. In Psalms, the book of Psalms, chapter 80. Psalms, chapter 80. Let’s just look here real quick and and see what the Lord has to, has to say in Psalms 80, verse seven, restore us, O God of hosts, cause your face to shine, and we shall be saved.

00;29;22;26 – 00;30;09;07
Unknown
You have brought a vine out of Egypt, and you have cast out the nations and planted it. Everybody say, planted it, and you prepared room for it, and caused it to take one deep root. And it what sealed the land? How many’s ever heard of the term church planting? And guess planting all right then, on over to, look here at verse eight of Psalms 52 and then we’ll come back to that.

00;30;09;09 – 00;30;50;04
Unknown
But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God. I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever. And then in Psalms 92, notice this verse 12, the righteous shall flourish like a palm tree. He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. And those who are planted in by shalt planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.

00;30;50;04 – 00;31;27;09
Unknown
Verse 14. And they shall, they shall still bear fruit in old days. Yes. Come on. Can I get a witness here? All right. In old age. And they shall be fresh and flourishing. In other words, they’ll be a weighty anointing in their latter years. But it comes out of being a planted people. Yeah, a planted place.

Psalms chapter one. Verse two. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in his law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a what tree planted in the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither. And whatever he does shall prosper. The promise applied there that are planted person will have no withering season, and you will be pruned.

00;32;15;08 – 00;32;45;04
Unknown
You will be cut back, because everything that is planted and is rooted eventually is pruned. But the purpose of the pruning is so that there is greater fruit bearing. Jesus said in John 15, I’m the vine and you are the branches. He said, without me you can do nothing. You got to abide in me. He said, It’s God’s will that you bear fruit more fruit and much fruit.

00;32;45;07 – 00;33;14;19
Unknown
In 1516 said this, you did not choose me, but I have chosen you and ordained you, that you should go forth and bear fruit, and that what your fruit shall remain. All right. Just two more places in Scripture. All right. Who will give me two more places? Two, four. Six now. All right, that’s all. You all know it’s going there, all right.

00;33;14;22 – 00;34;03;27

But in Genesis, in Genesis chapter two, he’s created Adam. He is spoke most of creation. He spoke, let there be light and there was light. And so he spoke things into existence. But when he came for mankind, he began to form Adam from the dust of the ground began to form him, in that particular way that breathed into him, the, the the breath of life, the commission Genesis one 26 and 12 through 28, is, God blessed them and said to them, be fruitful and multiply.

00;34;04;00 – 00;34;43;12
Unknown
And then it started about taking dominion and all of these different things. So Adam is the blessed person. But it’s interesting. God spoke creation into existence. He formed Adam breathed into him. But then it got to, verse eight and it said this of Genesis two, the Lord God planted everybody. They planted a garden eastward in Eden. And there he put the man whom he had what formed an out of the ground.

00;34;43;15 – 00;35;34;04
Unknown
The Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the side and good for food. Meaning this anything that God plants, he causes it to grow. Eden. God created everything. He created everything. But he planted Eden, the Garden of Eden. That word, Eden is. Is it a little bit of a difficult word to translate, but it basically comes down to and it means this spot or door God created everything, planted a garden, and that was the spot and the door which God entered into the creation he had just made.

00;35;34;06 – 00;36;10;04
Unknown
And that’s where he began to walk with Adam in the cool of the day, the man of authority, the man of dominion. He put him in the planted place. I just want to say this, that listen to have a thority real spiritual authority that moves the needle, that shifts things that stops things, that starts things that rebukes things that bind things that blesses things that releases things.

00;36;10;06 – 00;36;41;12

Is the planted person? Yes, it is the planted person. One of the Greek words for power is exosphere, which means right privilege, delegated influence. It means jurisdiction. Juris means law. Diction means spoken. There’s a judge that has what jurisdiction in this territory. If you break the law in this territory, he has what? The right to speak the law into that situation.

00;36;41;19 – 00;37;12;29
Unknown
And bind the enemy hand and foot. He can’t do the same thing in Florida, but he can right here. Why? Because he is a planted magistrate, a planted official in this territory. My whole point basically is this. When Adam opened his eyes, he opened him to the planted place. And that’s where God put him and began the journey.

00;37;13;01 – 00;37;39;19

When you look at the nation of Israel, God changed their diet three different times in, in, in Egypt they ate what? Leeks and onions and garlic. That was the food of bondage. All right. And how many’s ever been around somebody, who needed a Tic TAC? All right. Would you say that? All right. Spiritual or naturally, it doesn’t matter.

00;37;39;19 – 00;38;09;15
Unknown
All right, all right. But when he delivered them out of Egyptian bondage and into the wilderness, their diet changed from from the from the onions, the garlic and the leeks to what manna and the word manna. And the Hebrew means. What is it?

00;38;09;17 – 00;38;32;02
Unknown
I met somebody in the conference here, said that. Hey, That’s it. How long you been here? Not long. This is all new to me. What is it? All right, when you get born again, you come out of a certain diet and you begin to feast with, with a heavenly thing that comes from above, you know?

00;38;32;02 – 00;39;05;10
Unknown
What is it? Everything is different. What they do is different. How they sound is different. How they talk is different. How their do family life is different. And there’s a tendency to want to go back. You can get the food of bondage or be in the land of manna, but have the language of the food of bondage. But when he changed them from the wilderness and to the promised Land, Joshua five tells us this, this, that day.

00;39;05;13 – 00;39;43;18
Unknown
Listen, the manna ceased when they begin to eat of the of the produce from the planted places, the promised land was the place of where they was. Seed time and harvest, sowing and reaping. It was the planted place. Can somebody say Amen? The planted place is the place of where God begins to do unbelievable things. You have to be planted, but you also have to be rooted.

00;39;43;20 – 00;40;23;25

Now go to our final scripture, Psalms 128. And here’s the word that I’ve got. Psalms 128 and I say, planted. Planted. Place. Planted. Course. You look in Psalms. 127 and all of that. You have, you know, it’s talking about having your, you know, your quiver full and all of these different things. Psalms 127 one let the Lord builds a house that labor in vain.

00;40;23;26 – 00;40;55;08
Unknown
Lists the Lord guards the city. The watchman wakes in vain. Verse three. Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord. The fruit of the womb is a reward, like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them that they want may not be ashamed, but shall speak with their enemies in the gate.

00;40;55;10 – 00;41;23;18

One of the promises to Abraham when he passed the test of faith and worship in Genesis 22 he says, listen, Abraham, the essence of God. I was listening to pastor Pat. Jeremiah is talking about worship. Basically, it’s it’s a surrendered thing. The first time the word worship is mentioned is in Genesis 22. There’s no music there.

00;41;23;21 – 00;41;52;13
Unknown
Other places, Chronicles other places. There is music, there is singing. So it’s all worship. But the first time it’s mentioned, it isn’t. The context is sacrificing and surrendering what is most precious to you. On there, he said, me and the lad are going to go yonder and worship and return again. There is, the perfection of faith in the atmosphere of worship.

00;41;52;15 – 00;42;18;02
Unknown
Worship? Because your faith. Why? Because it locks you in with God. It locks you in with God. But the promise was this because he passed the test, he says, listen, because you have done this thing twice. He spoke, I think verse 12 at 60 he said, because you have not withheld your son, your only son, with blessing I will bless you.

00;42;18;02 – 00;42;45;13
Unknown
And because you have not withheld. And he started to prophesy, and he said, and your seed will possess the gates of their enemies. And I want to encourage every one of you, don’t look at your children or your children’s children just through the eyes of things naturally, but filter them through the the biblical worldview of the promises and the covenant of Almighty God.

00;42;45;16 – 00;42;59;27

Your seed will possess the gates of their enemies. Come on, let’s give the Lord a shout and a clap offering.

00;43;00;02 – 00;43;40;20

Psalms 128. Psalms 128. How many is ever had challenges or struggles and sometimes, sometimes children don’t always make the choices you want them to make. Yeah. All right. There comes a point that you move from being an authority to being a counselor. I guess. But just know this. There is a generational anointing and promise and covenant around the table of the Lord that God promises to you and yours.

00;43;40;22 – 00;44;14;06
Unknown
And one of them is right here in Psalms 128, verse one, blessed is everyone who hears the Lord, who walks in his ways. When you eat the labor of your hands, you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you. Notice this verse three your wife shall be like a fruitful vine in the very heart of your house.

00;44;14;06 – 00;44;51;11
Unknown
Listen to this. Your children say your children like olive plants all around your table. Now this is where we’re going to break it down a little bit. Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord. The Lord bless you out of Zion. And may you see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life. Notice this.

00;44;51;13 – 00;45;35;28
Unknown
Yes, may you see your children’s children. But in verse three he said, your children, and he means not just a generation, but multi generations shall be like what? All of plants all around your table, the table represented, you know, the Last Supper, the table communion, covenant, all of these different things, they shall be like what though they shall be like all of plants.

00;45;36;00 – 00;45;44;08
Unknown
And all of plant eventually becomes an olive tree.

00;45;44;10 – 00;45;53;03
Unknown
You do not plant an olive tree. You plant an olive plant.

00;45;53;05 – 00;46;30;11
Unknown
An olive tree begins by being an olive plant. Starts with a seed or a seedling, or a a shoot that is that that is cut and planted and it is planted. It is tender. It is fragile, but there is promise and there’s potential. And it takes a little while. Can somebody say Amen? But it must be planted.

00;46;30;13 – 00;47;04;03
Unknown
It must be planted. Psalms 92. Those that are planted in the house of God shall flourish in the courts of our God, and olive plant to an olive tree. Here’s the process. It takes about 5 to 12 years to produce fruit from an olive plant. I mean, not year one or 2 or 3, but 5 to 12 years.

00;47;04;05 – 00;47;16;20
Unknown
The first several years of that olive plant, the energy of it is used to developing its root system.

00;47;16;23 – 00;48;01;14
Unknown
It’s a work that is happening, but it’s hidden. It’s taking place, but you don’t see it, but it is taking place. You just have to water it and kind of watch out around that, try to keep things, off of it. So it’s it’s not visible at at first. All right. And but in, what happens and begins to take place from year three to year five, it starts to form a little bit of a woody type trunk starts to form a little bit.

00;48;01;14 – 00;48;27;09
Unknown
All right. The, roots, there’s roots strength. And it’s really starting to show up. It’s starting to form a woody trunk, but it’s not what they call fruiting yet. It’s not free. It’s not bearing fruit yet. It’s happening. It’s taking place. He said. There’s a reason that he likened it to our children as Olive plants. It has to be nurtured.

00;48;27;09 – 00;48;31;12
Unknown
It cannot be rushed.

00;48;31;14 – 00;49;21;12
Unknown
Making the disciples cannot be rushed. It has to be nurtured. Seeing our children come into fullness, it has to be nurtured. It cannot be rushed. And so what begins to happen is in year five, it it starts to mature. And the first fruits begins to appear. It begins to appear somewhere between year five and year 12. And that’s a long time, a full grown olive tree is kind of like from 15 years, beyond deep roots, broad branches that begins to, have stable fruiting and oil production, so on and so, so forth.

00;49;21;12 – 00;50;01;05
Unknown
But a maturing olive plant, that is consistently fruiting 15 years and beyond, its peak times is between 35 and 150 years, producing anywhere from 30 to 60 pounds of of olives, annually. But olive trees, olive trees last anywhere from 300 to 600 years. Some over a thousand years, they say the ones in, in Jerusalem and the Garden of Gethsemane.

00;50;01;08 – 00;50;38;09
Unknown
We’ve been there are anywhere from 2 to 3000 years old. That was likely around when Jesus was there. That produced the place of crushing the place of oil. All of these different things. The point is this it takes a while before you fully see the fruiting and reproduction and generational anointing taking full measure, full maturity at around your table.

00;50;38;11 – 00;51;08;29
Unknown
The key is this just be the example and generation first of the planted people, and let your roots go deep so that the fruit may go high. I encourage people all the time, live close to your church and drive to work. Yeah, because your job and your life, your church is yeah, it can be where there’s an expression of the kingdom in the marketplace and all of that.

00;51;09;00 – 00;51;42;02
Unknown
But church is vital. That’s where you’re under a fivefold office ministry gift. That is where first Corinthians 1223 he said, some in the body as he pleases. And that’s where he brings you into a demographic of people that have this like precious faith, same spiritual DNA that God wants to bring you into, and he brings you in up in a place like that, as where Christian community that that’s where you hope your children find their future mate is in the body of Christ, a church is vitally important.

00;51;42;05 – 00;51;52;12
Unknown
It’s where you grow. That’s where you learn. That’s where you’re taught. That’s where spirit and truth, praise, gatherings and encounters happen.

00;51;52;14 – 00;52;36;27
Unknown
Yeah, this didn’t happen in Walmart. It happened right here at Word of Life. All right. And so there is blessed places. There is a place where God plants a people. And it’s vitally important to be planted, to be rooted, to be pruned and continue to grow and to overcome anything and everything, because there is a promise for you and yours that listen your children like a tender olive plant, will be what, around your table and your children’s children, their, you know, can somebody say Amen?

00;52;36;29 – 00;52;56;24
Unknown
Listen, you can’t look at the things that are seen. You gotta look at the things that are not seen. Because the things that are seen, they’re temporal and they’re subject to change. But the things that are not seen are eternal. Don’t be moved by what you see, be moved by what you believe. And I believe that if I’m a planted person, I am planted by God.

00;52;56;27 – 00;53;27;23
Unknown
I am planted in a place. From here you have global vision and local activation. From here is where you will come in. Isaiah 61 in their land they shall possess double. Yeah yeah yeah yeah. Isaiah 62. Talk about Hezbollah and being married to the land. In other words, a planted people in a planted place can reach the whole world from right where they’re at.

00;53;27;25 – 00;53;47;20
Unknown
But you can’t be partially in. You got to be all land. But the reason I’m going to be all land is not because that I’m supposed to. Because. But. And I should do it for that. But it’s because that is where God has blessed me. That is where God has a future for me. That is where the promises of God are manifested.

00;53;47;27 – 00;54;15;27
Unknown
And that’s where my children and my children’s children, like olive plant, is going to be around my table. Okay. Yeah. You got to give it a little bit of time because sometimes they go away and so on and so forth. Usually that first half of life, they seek it for success. But somewhere in the in the journey of the second half now they begin to seek for significance.

00;54;16;00 – 00;54;43;18
Unknown
Yeah. Because there’s the success starts to lose some of the shine. And they going to go and return back to the planted people and the planted place. And one thing is for certain, you cannot fake authenticity. You can’t fake reality. There is no such thing as fake Christians, not real Christians. There’s no such thing. There’s not synthetic. There’s only the real deal.

00;54;43;23 – 00;55;07;04
Unknown
There’s either a believer or not a saved or not saved, baptized in Almighty God or not. And you are the people in a planted place that has a future and your children and your children’s children, I am telling you, ain’t going to be back around your tables.

00;55;07;06 – 00;55;12;10
Unknown
Come on, let’s give God a shout. If you really believe that.

00;55;12;13 – 00;55;44;06
Unknown
Yeah, back around your tables and that generational anointing that will live for a long time, that will pass from generation to generation to generation. You just have to settle in the saddle, hang in there and trust and believe God because it’s only the planted people that have authority, and the authority comes from your roots. The curse on Cain for killing Abel was this.

00;55;44;06 – 00;56;19;02
Unknown
He said, you got to be like a vagabond. A vagabond has no certain dwelling, no certain place. He said, you’re not going to have any certain dwelling place. In other words, a vagabond is an unplanted person. I have seven sons of Akiva, and that’s 19, encounters. These, these vagabond. The scripture says vagabond Jews encounter. They had this, had this, these devils in them and said, listen, the demons spoke of Jesus.

00;56;19;02 – 00;56;46;05
Unknown
I know, Paul, I know, but who are you? And they got a whoopin because they were what, no authority. They were vagabonds. They had no certain place of planting. There has to be a place that we embrace that we call home. It has its challenges. It has its struggles. It has its weaknesses, but it has its strength. It has its covenant.

00;56;46;12 – 00;57;16;27
Unknown
It has its promise. It has its potential. It has its future, and it has its destiny. Yeah. Come on, let’s just take about 30s and give God a prophetic thanks in advance for what he’s done, for what he’s going to do.

00;57;16;29 – 00;57;56;12
Unknown
Thank you, Lord, for offering and listen. I know I’m preaching to the choir. You’re the greatest example of of a ministry of this that I know of in America. Yeah. And the biggest part of the world. Listen, you have family, but there’s others that is coming in broken, battered, abandoned, bruised, has never knew nothing but rejection, pain and hurt and they coming in.

00;57;56;15 – 00;58;20;01
Unknown
They’re coming in. And guess what? God’s going to give you a system in a way. But you have the spirit of it, that when they come in, they’re going to have a catch up season. Yeah, yeah. They’re going to have a catch up season and they’re going to grow and develop and come into this DNA just like they’ve always been here.

00;58;20;04 – 00;58;48;28
Unknown
How many believe that? Yeah, I’m telling you there’s others that God is going to put it. People are hungry for this. Yeah. Listen they’re not hungry for brother wonderful or sister spiritual. They’re hungry for an authentic group of people that love God completely, are sold out totally and have become all land and have become a planted people. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00;58;49;00 – 00;59;27;27
Unknown
Listen. Galatians four and then I’m finished. Two minutes, I promise. It talks about adoption. Yeah. And he says, and you will no longer be a slave, but a son that come from a custom of the culture of that time. The Roman adoption laws was not unlike totally like it is now. And you had any family that sometime a father would see a choice slave and and looking at managing things at the household.

00;59;27;27 – 00;59;58;17
Unknown
And they’re getting along in years. And so many times what would happen is in one day, one day it’s done. His due diligence studied, didn’t go out and he would purchase a slave. And on the same day go to the clerk at courts. That day and adopt that slave, and that slave become a son in one day. Yes, one day.

00;59;58;19 – 01;00;14;00
Unknown
And that’s going to happen here on steroids. I think it is already happening. I think it is already taken place. But listen, it said they had no root in themselves.

01;00;14;02 – 01;00;44;29
Unknown
It’s in us. We’re that decision. This is my people. This is my tribe. This is my place. These are my pastors. These are my elders. This is my praise people. This is my worship people. This is who I do life together with. This is who I who we journey together with. And I want to encourage you that what is happening here, the seed and spirit of it is taking place in Greece.

01;00;45;01 – 01;01;13;11
Unknown
It’s happening in Alaska. It’s going to its head. It’s going to happen more so in Africa. And all of these things are going to start to take place and begin to reproduce itself. The diaspora of this ministry, this dispersed and so on and so forth. And and God is collectively building a people group that is going to do some unbelievable and powerful and great things.

01;01;13;13 – 01;01;48;11
Unknown
Now lift up your hearts and hands and begin to give God thanks. Father, we thank you. We thank you. We magnify you. We we glorify you. Father and father, we pray and ask you in the name of Jesus. That the stone that the builder was that have been rejected become the chief cornerstone. I pray and ask you, father, in the name of Jesus.

01;01;48;14 – 01;02;22;06
Unknown
Anybody here that have suffered from fitting in suffered from fill in rejection, whatever it may be. But Lord, I just pray and ask God, let that be broke today in the name of Jesus. Sometimes, said, the stone the builders rejected became the chief cornerstone. Sometimes you reject it in life for your protection and your further promotion.

01;02;22;09 – 01;02;51;06
Unknown
Because if he let you be embraced by certain things you will never come in to. Sometimes the main thing God had for you. Sometimes that rejection has to take place, but it’s for your protection and your promotion. But I want to encourage you. Today is the day that you no longer feel a stranger. Feel a foreigner cross the point of no return.

01;02;51;08 – 01;03;25;16

I just don’t want people to know my name. I want them to know my root system. And from here we’re going to be able to make a difference. Can somebody say Amen? I’m going to ask those men if you would. Fellas that done that drive heart thing. Come on back up. Yeah. Just come on back up.

01;03;25;18 – 01;03;33;20

Thank you, Lord.

Right now, if I feel like hitting into a dance, Pastor Johnson’s going to take my place, all right? He’s got more energy and so on. And so forth. So, fellas, here’s what I just want you to do is just just to begin to declare and proclaim. There’s a orphan spirit on our land.

01;04;02;14 – 01;04;33;04
Unknown
Orphan struggles with belonging, family identity, sense of guidance, heritage. Let it be broken and call in the sons and daughters. Listen. Malachi four he says, listen. That spirit of Elijah would come and would turn the hearts of the fathers towards the children and the hearts of the children towards the fathers, lest I come smite the earth with the curse.

01;04;33;04 – 01;05;02;09
Unknown
It’s a divine strategy to reform society wherever the fathers are not honored, the move of God will be in decline in that area. Wherever the fathers don’t help children reach destiny, God judges their ministry. And so we’re just going to believe and trust God. And I would like maybe Jonathan, please, Pastor Jonathan, Apostle, Pat, Bob and whoever else that you want.

01;05;02;10 – 01;05;18;05
Unknown
Come on up here. But fellas, stretch your hands out towards this way. Everybody lift up your hearts and hands. Come on. That all of communication can reduce a lot of frustration.

God, let your kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We declare around our tables our children. They’re going to begin as all of plants, but they’re going to become full, mature olive trees.

And you know, I just wanted to share something. We went to visit the Calaveras Big Trees yesterday, and it’s so timely because one of the biggest sequoias out there, it’s called the father of the forest. But it’s fallen over. It’s sacrificed so that its nutrients could replenish the ground. And as his fathers were called to do the same.

Foreword by Apostle Sheila Bowling

What an honor it is to be back with our family here at Word of Life Fellowship in Mi-Wuk Village. From the moment I stepped into this sanctuary, I could feel that heaven was open over this place. The purity and holiness in the atmosphere are tangible — revival isn’t just coming; it’s already here.

God is moving among a people who are set apart. You’ve been consecrated for His purpose, and I believe what’s being birthed here will echo far beyond this mountain — into cities, nations, and the world. You are a remnant people: chosen, purified, and prepared for these last days.

Thank you, Word of Life, for being faithful to God’s call. It’s a joy to stand with you, to cheer you on, and to declare that revival has a home right here.

Now, I’m honored to introduce my husband, Apostle Les Bowling, who will share a word from the Lord about what it means to be a planted people in a planted place.

A Message from Apostle Les Bowling

What a joy and refreshing it has been to be part of the Spirit and Truth Praise Conference here in Mi-Wuk Village. Having traveled the world, I can honestly say that what’s happening here is one of the purest and most powerful expressions of worship and community I’ve ever seen.

Everywhere I look, I see authenticity, humility, and a genuine hunger for God. You’re not just building a ministry — you’re building family.

Revival in Family Form

God is redefining the Church in this hour. For too long, people have seen the Church as an institution, but what He’s raising up here is a family. And it’s much easier to leave an institution than it is to leave a family.

Psalm 68 says, “He sets the solitary in families.”
That’s exactly what God has done in this place — a people bound together through fire, through faith, and through covenant love.

Don’t ever underestimate what God is doing here just because it’s not massive in number. The Kingdom doesn’t measure by quantity but by quality — by root depth and fruitfulness. God is taking this DNA, this spirit, and spreading it. What’s been birthed in Mi-Wuk will be carried to the nations.

The Power of Being Planted

Throughout Scripture, God reveals His heart for the planted person.
Psalm 92:13 says, “Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.”

Being planted means more than attending — it’s about belonging. It’s about being rooted in God’s purpose and in His people. You can’t have true authority without being planted. Authority flows from rootedness — from knowing your place, your people, and your purpose.

When God created man in Genesis 2, He planted a garden and then placed the man He had formed there. Adam’s first sight upon opening his eyes was the planted place. God could have spoken a garden into existence, but instead He planted it — showing us that what He values most must be cultivated, tended, and stewarded.

Roots and Fruit

In Matthew 13, Jesus speaks of the seed sown on stony ground. It sprouted quickly but withered because it had no root.
A rootless faith cannot endure trials.
A rootless family cannot pass on legacy.

That’s why God calls us not only to be fruitful but also rooted. The remnant that remains after fire, storm, and pruning is what God uses to rebuild. Isaiah 37 says, “The remnant shall take root downward and bear fruit upward.”

It’s not about speed — it’s about depth. God is developing your root system before He shows your fruit.

Generational Legacy: Olive Plants Around the Table

Psalm 128 gives us a picture of what happens when a people are planted in the Lord:

“Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children like olive plants around your table.”

An olive plant isn’t yet an olive tree. It takes years — sometimes a decade — before fruit appears. Those first years are all about the roots. What’s unseen is growing stronger beneath the surface.

God’s promise to you is that your children — and your children’s children — will grow into fruitful olive trees. Some of them might wander, some might take time to mature, but the roots of covenant and faith you’ve planted will anchor them.

It’s not instant. It’s generational. But it’s sure.

Planted People Have Authority

When you’re planted, you carry jurisdiction in the Spirit. Just like a judge has authority in his own territory, you have spiritual authority in the place where God has planted you.

That’s why God told Cain, “You will be a vagabond.” The curse wasn’t only about wandering; it was about being uprooted — losing authority. But a planted person carries the right to bind and loose, to bless, to intercede, and to shift the spiritual climate of their land.

You are a planted people in a planted place. From this soil, God is raising up families who will heal the nations.

Family Restoration and Generational Anointing

We are entering a season where whole households will be saved. The same word that went forth to the Philippian jailer — “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you and your household will be saved” — is being fulfilled again.

The enemy has fought the family unit because it mirrors the Father’s heart. But God is restoring fathers to their children and children to their fathers. The orphan spirit that has plagued this land is breaking.

Malachi 4 prophesies: “He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to the fathers.”

This is not just sentiment — it’s strategy. Wherever fathers rise in love and humility, revival follows.

A Catch-Up Season

During ministry, we saw a prophetic picture — men gathering like strong trees, their roots intertwining beneath the surface. The Lord said it’s a “catch-up season.”

Women have carried the spiritual march for years, but now men are being strengthened to take their rightful place beside them — fathers, brothers, and sons rising to lead in love, not in domination.

As Pastor Shelly prayed, we declared that the hearts of fathers in this region — Tuolumne County and beyond — would be ignited again, and that the spirit of adoption would sweep through families, churches, and communities.

From Olive Plant to Olive Tree

Even when an old olive tree falls or is cut down, its roots remain alive. Over time, new shoots emerge from the same root system, and the tree resurrects itself.

That’s what God is doing here. He’s reviving generational promises that seemed cut off. The deep roots of this house — its prayers, its faith, its covenant love — are producing new growth.

Your legacy will live long after you. Your fruit will feed nations.

Conclusion: A Planted People, a Global Harvest

From Mi-Wuk to Nairobi, from Alaska to Greece — the spirit of this house is spreading. What’s been cultivated here will multiply globally.

But never forget: your greatest impact starts with being planted. Planted in Christ. Planted in covenant. Planted in your church family.

Because only planted people can carry lasting authority.
Only planted roots can sustain generational fruit.

Final Blessing

“The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.”

As we sang this blessing over one another, I could feel the Father’s heart rejoicing — fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters joined in one Spirit.

This is revival.
This is family.
This is what it means to be a planted people in a planted place.

Closing Prayer

Father,
We thank You for planting us in Your house and calling us to flourish in Your presence.
Root us deeply in Your Word, in love, and in covenant community.
Let our lives bear fruit that remains — fruit that blesses our children and our children’s children.
Heal every orphaned heart and unite families in Your perfect love.
Teach us to be steadfast, faithful, and fruitful as we stand together as a planted people in a planted place.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
